Heather started her life in Upstate New York. What began as a longing for beauty and peace would later grow into a pursuit of understanding and truth. At just 18 years old, she moved across the country and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University.

During her years in Seattle after college, struggles with her own health and wellbeing sparked a commitment to finding answers. In exploring holistic medicine, she discovered a particular resonance with Chinese Medicine. It offered her a context for understanding cause-and-effect relationships between lived experiences and their impact on health - physical, mental, emotional, and otherwise.

Heather went on to receive her Master’s degree from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, Florida. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Arizona and is nationally board-certified by the National Certification Board for Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM).

In her healing practice, Heather places emphasis on the space held within the therapeutic relationship and environment. She views presence, safety, and attunement as foundational to a person’s capacity to access their own healing process. Her work is guided by the belief that change arises through the discovery of one’s own truth.
