Heather started her life in Upstate New York. What began as a longing for beauty and peace would later grow into a pursuit of understanding and truth. At just 18 years old, she moved across the country and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University.
During her years in Seattle after college, struggles with her own health and wellbeing sparked a commitment to finding answers. In exploring holistic medicine, she discovered a particular resonance with Chinese Medicine. It offered her a context for understanding cause-and-effect relationships between lived experiences and their impact on health — physical, mental, emotional, and otherwise.

Heather went on to receive her Master’s degree from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, Florida. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Arizona and is nationally board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
In her healing practice, Heather places emphasis on the space held within the therapeutic relationship and environment. She views presence, safety, and attunement as foundational to a person’s capacity to access their own healing process. Her work is guided by the belief that change arises through the discovery of one’s own truth.
